Do debit cards qualify for the cash discount?

Unfortunately, debit cards do not qualify for the cash discount. When a debit card is used to make a purchase online with any company, it is processed as a credit transaction through the Visa or Master Card networks. It is therefore subject to the exact same fees as a credit card. Because of this, we cannot extend a cash discount to customers using a debit card for their transactions. This is the same for every online business and is not unique to Provident Metals.
