How do I check out using an eCheck (ACH)?

Select "eCheck/ACH" At Checkout

When checking out, the option for eCheck/ACH will appear as an available payment method at the top of the cart. After selecting the eCheck/ACH method and hitting Checkout Now, you will be prompted to log into your account or continue as a guest. Once you have selected your checkout option,  Click on the button to continue. A pop-up will appear:

Search for or Select Your Bank

After clicking continue, a list of available banks will pop-up. If your bank is shown, you can click on it. If it does not appear, you can use the search box to find your bank.

Instant Verification via Secure Bank Login

Your login credentials and transfer of information are encrypted end-to-end so that it is safe and secure. Provident does not have access to your login credentials.

Once your bank is selected, you will be prompted to log in. To log in, you will use your online banking credentials. After logging in, available accounts will be listed. Select the checking account that you wish to use. Savings accounts are not recommended as they may result in delays and fees depending on the bank.

If your bank supports instant authorization

You will be taken to a confirmation screen and then redirected to the checkout to complete your purchase.

If your bank does not support instant authorization

You will be prompted to provide your routing and account number. You will have to enter this information twice, the first time to add it and the second time to confirm it. After confirming the account and routing numbers, you will be taken to a confirmation screen.

Complete the Checkout

Once your account is linked and you select continue, you will be redirected to the checkout page to complete your order. Your payment will appear as pending, but you still have to complete the checkout to place your order.

It can take up to 1 business day for your bank to complete the verification. You will be notified by email when the verification has been completed and your payment has been processed. If there are any issues, you will also be emailed. Your bank account will be saved and stored securely for future purchases.
