What’s The Difference Between “NGC” And “PCGS”? (1)

Both the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) and the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) are private third-party companies that grade and certify coins. These are the two most well-known and respected independent grading companies in the United States. Coins listed as PCGS MS70 or NGC MS70 are Mint State Perfect coins. The only difference is in which grading house graded and authenticated the coin.
